Duties
By joining the Commercial Finance Intern programme, you will be employed on a graduate programme where you can continue learning and improve your skills in the field of accounting and finance.
You will undergo a detailed training process, by participating directly in the daily work and project, assisting the commercial and reporting teams with tasks that are related to accounting.
Here are some of the things you will learn and experience in the programme:
- Month end accounting and reporting processes (e.g. reconciliations, simple reporting and basic analysis)
- Simple analysis vs budgets, forecasts and prior year results
- Working with MS Office (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)
Eligibility and Requirements
If you are interested to join the ASPEN Internship Programme for Commercial Finance, there are several requirements that you must fulfil in order to be eligible, please make sure that you have:
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Must have a completed relevant Degree in Accounting or Finance
Aside from that, you need to master different skills in order to participate in the Commercial Finance Internship Programme:
- You must be familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel and PowerPoint
- You must have effective verbal and written communication
- You must have the ability to network and interact with colleagues.
