Established in 1995, the Woodlands Dairy is now the biggest manufacturer for UHT milk in the entire South Africa. The company’s range includes butter, cheese, amasi, cream, flavoured milk, dairy desserts, UHT milk, custard as well as extended shelf life fresh milk. Woodlands Dairy is situated along the south African Garden Route in Humansdorp exactly in the heart of the Eastern Cape dairy region. The learnership program 2021 at Woodlands Dairy is available in the field of raw milk, cream handling and storage. All matriculants who are currently unemployed and are interested in a dairy processing career are eligible to apply. The program will cover areas such as milk reception, nature of milk, lab testing, COP and CIP. This learnership program will cover both practical and theoretical components which will last for a whole year (12 months).

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered for the learnership program, it is mandatory that all applicants must be South African youth who are not younger than 18 years old and not older than 23 years old. Candidates must be able to provide proof of a matric certificate and must be currently unemployed. It is also compulsory that candidates do not have any prior work experience.

Failure in complying with these minimum eligibility requirements will lead to your application not being accepted and considered for the program. Therefore, it is your responsibility to ensure full eligibility prior to submitting an application for this call.

Along with an application letter, candidates must also provide a curriculum vitae. Your application must also be attached with certified copies of a Matric certificate or the latest results of your matric studies. Furthermore, you must also attach a certified copy of an identity document within your application.

Note that, the company will not accept a statement of results. Applicants are required to submit a certified copy of their IDs, original senior certificate as well as any relevant qualifications.

The closing date for this learnership program is on September 30, 2020. No late nor incomplete application will be taken into consideration.
