RTMC Internship for Road Safety Enthusiasts

Those who want to gain a deeper knowledge in road safety and road safe management through RTMC internship program can always apply for the program. About the Program

RTMC or Road Traffic Management Corporation is the company that is responsible for road management and traffic control. They are offering an internship program opportunity to the unemployed youth so they can apply within the fields that are in line with the core business of the company.

Through RTMC internship program, the company is inviting applicants to take part in the program. It may last to a year (12 months) with various subjects of studies or sectors. Each study or sector has specific requirements that candidates need to follow so be sure that you are well aware of it.

For instance, for Law Enforcement Internship program, the candidates need to have a Public Administration Degree or BTech while those who want to take part in Road Safety subject need to have BTech or Degree in Education. Candidates need to check the offered program lists to see the details and the reference number.

The Requirements

All internship programs have their own standard of measurements and RTMC internship program isn’t different. They need to at least meet the general requirements; otherwise, their application would be rejected.

For this program, candidates need to follow these basic and general requirements:

  • They must be the citizens of South Africa that will be proven by valid ID
  • They must be between the age of 18 and 35 years old
  • They must be unemployed graduates
  • They must never take part in any internship programs before

Be advised that successful candidates will have to sign an agreement. During the program, they will get a monthly stipend. The amount may vary depending on their level of qualifications.

How to Apply

The candidates are expected to send an application letter or fill in the application form. When they submit the letter, they need to attach the supporting documents with it. The supporting documents are:

  • A certified copy of Senior Certificate
  • A certified copy of ID document
  • Certified copies of qualifications, including academic transcripts
  • A CV with reference number quotes
  • A thorough and complete CV

If candidates are sending more than one subject of interest, they will have to send a separate application form. And each of them needs to have the complete supporting documents. Be advised that international qualifications would be evaluated by SAQA (South African Qualification Authority). The deadline is on December the 5th 2019.

The application can be done online where candidates need to upload their documents and fill in the application form.
