Bursary Details

The Kwa-Zulu-Natal Department of Health in South Africa is accountable for implementing and creating a wide-ranging and sustainable health system that encompasses all levels through the District Health System. This department of the South African government is also responsible for ensuring that all its residents have access to health care. This year, outstanding South Africans who lack financial resources to attend tertiary studies can apply for the KZN Department of Health Bursaries South Africa 2018-19 that this department offers.

Suitability:

  • South African nationality
  • Be in financial need
  • Have applied to study or studying in one of the aforementioned programs
  • Live in KZN province and from the district region where the program of study is advertised
  • Students with disabilities are eligible to apply

How to Apply

Collect application form for the KZN Department of Health Bursaries South Africa 2018-19 from any Public CHC, Hospital or Clinic in KZN (Human Resource Department).

Provide the following supporting materials in your application as well:

  • Certified copies of ID and parents’/guardians’ ID
  • Latest matric results and grade 11 final results (current matric applicants)
  • matric certificate if finished matric
  • full tertiary academic record (current university applicants)
  • proof of application to a University
  • proof of parents/guardians’ income

Applications must be submitted to the same hospital and no posted submissions will be accepted. Submit before November 15, 2018. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted students only.
