Programme Description

Position: Bid Committee Officer

Recruiter: Joburg Market

Location: Johannesburg

Salary: R18 638.23 – R24 531.45 (basic salary exclude benefits)

Duties

  • Taking part in all bid committees meetings, such as BAC, BSC, and BEC
  • Ensuring that proper filling for tenders or bids documentations
  • Doing the compilation of bid reports and their distributions
  • Providing the complete administrative supports in before and after meetings
  • Reviewing contracts for the compliance of SCM
  • Ensuring the reservations of the meeting rooms have been done properly
  • Taking part in the RFP preparations and tender specifications
  • Performing tasks given
  • Doing the effective filling and records keeping of documents
  • Implementing the requirements of the operational SCM policies through procedures and standard systems
  • Doing the procurement of good and services in the terms of MFMA Act, BBBEE Act, PPPFA, and the approved contracts
  • Providing advices on the best method of the procurement based on the regulations

Requirements

  • Grade 12/ Matric certificate is a must
  • Having national Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Secretariat, or Office Admin is preferable
  • Having 2-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management secretariat role will be an advantage
  • Being passionate at work and able to work under pressure
