Job Details
This job position is available within the Support Services directorate at the Judicial Inspectorate for Correctional Services and is located in Cape Town. The future incumbent will receive a level five salary amounting to R 163 563 annually along with 37% in lieu of benefits.
In order to be eligible for the HR Personnel Clerk vacancy at Judicial Inspectorate for Correctional Services, candidates must be in possession of at least a Senior Certificate or its equivalent qualification. Having an experience in Office Administration is also necessary. Below are the required skills and competencies that you should possess:
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of PERSAL and HRM (not compulsory but would be an advantage)
- Organising, planning as well as negotiation skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work both alone and with others

Once you are qualified for the position, you will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:
- Be responsible for providing Human Resources administrative support by managing the leave
- Be responsible for capturing staff grievances
- Be responsible for managing the process of resignations and appointments of staff members
- Be responsible for the administration of staff benefits
- Be responsible for updating and filing personnel files
- Be responsible for performance management
