Job Details

The vacant position is available within the HR Department. The future qualified incumbent will receive salary ranging from R 242 475 to R 285 630 annually plus benefits. In order to be qualified, candidates must have one of the following minimum educational requirements:

  • A grade 12 certificate with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in HR Department, or
  • A HR Diploma or Degree with 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR Department

Additionally, the HR Office vacancy at Pretoria West Hospital expects all applicants to have undergone training program and possess working experience on the PERSAL system.

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and manage Human Resource administration matters in the Institution to contribute to the performance of Professional Human Resource Management Service
  • Monitor the maintenance and implementation of Human Resource Administration practices related to the service benefits, leave administration, salary administration, and core standards.
  • Provide inputs on the development or amendments of policies, guidelines or standard operation procedures governing the Institution
  • Address Human Resource Management enquiries to make sure Human Resource Management practices are implemented correctly
  • Guide, inform and advise Personnel or Departments on HR Administration matters
  • Be responsible for the management of monitoring, training and development of work allocations, subordinates and effective implementation of performance management
  • Assure and manage the quality of HR information along with the promotion of information distribution process
  • Render investigation of HR related matters and advise management thereof
  • Monitor, oversee and maintain an effective HR Information System, including RWOPS, HR Databases and absenteeism profile
  • Be responsible for discipline in HR Department
  • Be responsible for writing reports on statistics on HR related delegations and matters
  • Approve leave and overtime in the PERSAL system
