Job Summary

It is HOU 00007/10/18. The successful incumbent will be stationed at the Pretoria West Hospital. This position offers a level 2 salary which is a total of R96 546 – R113 730 per year. Incumbent will also receive benefits along with the primary salary. Candidates are required to hold at least an ABET or Grade 10 qualification along with the ability to write and read in order to be eligible. No prior experience is required. It should be noted that future incumbent will be expected to work overtime and shifts. It is also mandatory that all candidates possess good communication skills.
Successful incumbent can expect to perform the following duties:
- Create a homely atmosphere as well as a safe environment in the residence
- Be responsible for exercising access control of keys
- Be responsible for reporting to the Residency Manager
- Be responsible for managing all incoming calls as well as intercom system in the residence
- Sorting of administration and post duties
- Be responsible for stock control as well as ordering of stock
- Be responsible for completion of monthly statistics
- Inspect rooms
- Render a cleaning service in the residence
- Polish, dust and wax furniture, doors and floors
- Scrub, sweep, vacuum and shampoo floors
- Clean walls and windows
- Empty and clean waste bins
- Refill hand wash liquid soap
- Replace toilet paper and hand towels as well as refresher in rest and bath room
- Be responsible for reporting of broken equipment in the residence
