Duties
- Making sure that all targets of the productions have met safely
- Ensuring that the production costs are spent effectively
- Supervising the underground activities in the area of responsibilities
- Conducting some risk assessments
- Planning a few inspections for both machinery and human resources
- Scheduling task observations
- Planning inspections during the working hours
Eligibility and Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualifications
- Having 2 underground machine licenses is a must
- Having Underground Blasting Certificate is a must
- Code EB/08 driving license is needed to have
- The applicants must have the Certificate of Flame Proof and Gas Testing
- The applicants need to have five years of underground mining experience which is divided into two years in operator level
- Experiences in underground in bye mining will be essential
- Having the ability to adhere to regulations and rules is needed
- The applicants need to have the ability to maintain high level of the performance of individual and team
- During the hectic times, the applicants need to remain calm and focused
