Job Description
The Administrative Assistant vacancy at Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent offers an attractive salary which could amount from R 196 407 to R 231 351 per year. The qualified applicant will be stationed at the MISA Head Office which is situated in Centurion. If you hold an appropriate Grade 12 certificate then you are automatically eligible to apply providing you also meet the other minimum requirements such as appropriate experience in office administration as well as office management. Furthermore, it is mandatory that you should be either a South African citizen or a permanent resident in order to apply for this position.
All candidates are required to have the following competencies:
- Organising and planning
- Good typing skills
- Good telephone etiquette
- In depth understanding and knowledge of office management and administration
- Good knowledge of secretarial functions as well as office administrative systems
This position will have any qualified candidate be involved in but not limited to the following duties:
- Manage and develop the efficient filling system as well as flow of documents within the program
- Distribute and receive documents
- Record documents in their respective registers
- Manage as well as file paperwork of the unit
- Manage effective document tracking systems
- Conduct secretarial support services
- Prepare as well as coordinate documentation for workshops and meetings
- Compile report or minutes
- Draft correspondence letters and memos
- Take care of diary of the supervisor
- Record events and arrange appointments in the diary
- Promote effective diary coordination on the manual system or in an electronic
- Render administrative support services
- Manage logistics and other related activities for meetings, travel, conferences and workshop
- Manage communication systems and the telephone in the office
- Order and purchase stationery as well as equipment
- Manage equipment and inventory within the unit
- Make fax, copies as well as email documents as necessary
