Available Vacancies at BVM
BVW is operating seasonal swimming pools that can be used by the public. To help the municipality in maintaining and operating the swimming pools, The BVM is now looking for candidates to be a part of the seasonal swimming pools in some available positions such as cashiers, cloakroom attendants, lifesavers, and general assistants.
Requirements
South Africans who meet the requirements in the following positions are invited to apply.
Cashiers Requirements
To apply for cashier’s positions, you must complete Grade 12, be a person with computer literate, have good interpersonal and communications skills, have good calculating skills, able to work independently, have attention to detail, and be fluent in at least 2 of 3 official languages in the Western Cape.
Cloakroom Attendants Requirements
To apply for cloakroom attendant’s positions, you must have the ability to read and write, be a person with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, have attention to detail, and be fluent in at least 2 of 3 official languages in the Western Cape.
Lifesavers Requirements
To apply for lifesaver’s positions, you must complete Grade 12, have a valid accredited Level 1 of Life Guard Certificate, Valid accredited Level 1 of first aid Certificate, have LifeGuard skills, understand CPR and emergency medical procedures, Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently, and be fluent in at least 2 of 3 official languages in the Western Cape.
All of the positions require at least 6 months of experience. Special for lifesaver’s positions you must have at least 12 months of experience.
