Duties

  • Ensuring adherence to Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedures
  • Supervising social distancing among school children all the time
  • Taking and register temperature and vital signs
  • Sanitizing all learners, educators, and visitors
  • Reporting suspicious cases to the relevant school Covid-19 Champion
  • Also, compiling weekly and monthly reports

Requirements

In addition, to be eligible for this SAYouth Covid-19 response programme, there are some requirements that all applicants have to possess.

  • Having the minimum school qualification of Grade 12 is compulsory
  • The applicants must not be currently working or studying
  • The applicants must be able to manage groups of learners, deal with challenging behaviour, and communicate in English and another official language
