Sanlam Learnership is a learnership programme that educates South African youths about the general insurance industry and how it works. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the learnership, you have to fulfill the following requirements:

  • You must be a South African citizen with a legal ID number.
  • You must be currently unemployed or not studying full time by the time of application.
  • You are between the ages of 18 – 28.
  • You must have completed Grade 12 and earned a Matric certificate with a minimum pass mark of 40% for English and a Second Language, and a minimum pass mark of 40% for Mathematics or 60% for Mathematics Literacy.
  • You must not have participated in any short term insurance learnership provided by INSETA previously.
  • Sanlam Learnership also welcomes people with disabilities. Please provide a medical note confirming the nature of your disability if you are categorised into this condition.
  • You must not have more than 1 year of working experience before.
