Merchants has partnered with MyCalling.co.za, a career discovery website, to recruit Technical Call Centre Agents in Gauteng. They are seeking talented Inbound Call Centre Agents to join our international company based in Parktown and contribute to enhancing brand equity and improving corporate reputation. Your role will include providing telephonic support to customers, establishing positive customer relationships, marketing company products and services to meet customer needs, and promptly resolving customer queries. Your efforts will help maximize customer service levels, achieve sustainable competitiveness, and serve as the liaison between customers and depot operations.
Merchants Call Centre Agents Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position must meet the following qualifications:
- Possess a Matric certificate, which is mandatory.
- Have technical and/or billing experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of these areas.
In addition to the required qualifications, the successful candidate should have the following experience:
- A clear Criminal and credit check (ITC).
- 1-2 years of customer service or inbound call center experience.
- Strong technical and billing experience, which is mandatory.
- Excellent typing skills and the ability to capture data accurately.
- Adequate administrative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
- Fluency in English and another official South African language.
- The willingness to work night shift hours and the ability to be flexible.
These qualifications and experience will ensure that the candidate can effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
