Job Description
The successful candidate will receive a level 5 salary which amounts to R 163 563 per year. This job will station the qualified incumbent in Basotho Cultural Village (Qwaqwa) which is situated in Free State. In order to be eligible for this job, it is mandatory that candidates hold a senior certificate or any equivalent qualification. Candidates are also allowed to submit proof of vocational studies qualification or any of its equivalent in hospitality and catering. Furthermore, applicants must also have a two or three year experience in hospitality and catering field.
The Museum Assistant vacancy at Basotho Cultural Village requires all candidates to have skills to operate catering equipment as well as knowledge of food production standards.
Once you are qualified for the job, below are some of the key performance area you can expect to be involved in:
- Make sure the adherence to Health and Safety regulations by upholding a hygienic work environment
- Supervise food preparation as well as serving thereof
- Issue receipts and receive revenue from paying customers
- Be responsible for asset management, staff supervision as well as stock control
- Be responsible for procurement of ingredients and food
