Description
MANCOSA was established as a post-apartheid empowerment institution in 1995, when they started providing affordable and accessible management education, primarily to students who were previously excluded from graduate education. This private higher education institution is completely black owned, especially by previously disadvantaged individuals.
The institution wishes to attract more outstanding students to pursue their tertiary qualification. The MANCOSA Bursary Program for South African students is offered for candidates interested in pursuing their studies in:

The award will cover tuition costs but exclude the registration fees and textbook costs. Candidates will have to cover these expenses on their own. Shortlisted applicants will receive correspondence, if you haven’t been contacted in two months after the closing date, consider your application as unsuccessful.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be a South African national who have completed matric
- Be a first time student
- Have registered and have been accepted to study in one of the fields listed above at MANCOSA (through distance learning)
- Have paid MANCOSA registration fees where applicable
- Have achieved a level 4 for Maths and English (first time applicants to a tertiary institute)
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in Matric (Higher Certificate program candidates and applying to a tertiary institute for the first time)
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% in previous qualification (a degree program candidates)
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 70% in previous qualification (postgraduate or Honours program candidates)
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 75% in previous qualification (master’s candidates)

To apply for the MANCOSA Bursary Program for South African students, please forward your application form along with the following supporting documents:
- certified copy of matric certificate and ID as well as any qualification certificates
- a detailed CV
- a one page motivation letter outlining your reason why you deserve this bursary
- no more than 2 months old payslip (certified copy)
