Internship Opportunities for Tertiary Students And Fresh Graduates

The Department of Social Development of Gauteng province is pleased to announce the 14 new internship opportunities for tertiary students and fresh graduates who are unemployed. Students who are in their last year of study towards a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and require in-service training as part of qualification requirements are welcome to apply. Recently graduated but unemployed individuals who are in need of exposure to a work environment are encouraged to apply as well.

Internship Details

The internship opportunities for tertiary students and fresh graduates are open to all youths from all gender and race categories. Persons with disabilities will receive preference. This internship program will give successful applicants an opportunity to enter into a two year contract with the exception to the Social Work students in their 4th year who will be placed for the duration as stated in the curriculum.
