Program Overview
IFASCO stands for Institute for Applied Science and Commerce. It is a research and academic institution that seeks to validate the cohesion between commerce and science education with a prospect of forming appropriate solutions through innovation. The institute strives to be a dynamic academic institution that provides a sound interrelation between commerce and science in order to provide appropriate and workable solutions. IFASCO offers adequate practical learning system and conducts cutting edge community based participatory research projects. This year, fresh graduates or tertiary students who are in their final year at university are provided with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be able to earn worthy and valuable experience in research and academic environment through the IFASCO Internship program 2019. Qualified candidates will be able to grow their core academic and research skills while simultaneously being mentored and supervised by experienced professionals. Successful applicants will be undergoing a 12 month internship program/ working experience that revolves around research and academic environment.
Eligibility criteria:
Fresh graduates or final year tertiary students can come from any part of the country in order to be entitled to this internship program. However, in order to be fully eligible, it is mandatory that all candidates make sure they meet all the following minimum entrance requirements. Note that, failure in complying with all of the important criteria below will lead to your application being denied for the program.
- Candidates must have completed matric
- Candidates must have completed their undergraduate program or be in their final year at tertiary level
- Candidates must be South African citizens
Furthermore, eligible applicants are those who have completed one of the following undergraduate study programs:
- BSc
- BCom
- IT
- BA Admin
The future qualified candidates will receive the following benefits that come along the program:

It is noteworthy that candidates have a clear indication of permanent employment not being guaranteed upon completion of the internship program.
