Please quote the reference number of this post, 2019/03, within your application form when applying. The successful applicant will receive a level two salary ranging from R 96 549 to R 113 730. In order to be eligible for the position, candidates must be in possession of at least an ABET qualification or STD 6 for it will serve as the minimum educational requirement. This position requires interested applicants to have the following competencies and skills:

  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety requirements and maintenance procedures attached to the duties of this post
  • Ability to operate electrical equipment, such as lawnmowers
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills to read operating instructions as well as notices

Once you are qualified for the Groundsman: Corporate Service vacancy at Maluti Campus, you will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

  • Ensure the cleaning of surroundings and classrooms
  • Carry out various gardening duties
  • Render supervision duties, soil cultivation, digging, mulching, forking, watering, weeding, raking, edging, pruning, planting and bed preparation
  • Empty litter bins and dumping
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment as well as buildings are secure
  • Keep tool shed and mess room tidy and clean
