Position: Bulk Shipments Import Logistics Assistant

As Import Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible to handle various duties, from processing data, to making contacts with agents. You can read more about the key responsibilities below:

  • Expediting of Bulk Shipments & Imports for Mines
  • Analyse all data received to identify any supply risk.
  • Considers urgency, important, risk factors of all product in transit
  • Processing with Bulk Shipments & Import Logistic Co-Ordinator
  • Collaborate with ARIT members in daily duties
  • Interact closely with Suppliers, Transporters & Clearing Agents
  • Interact with the Africa Region Mines (KCC and MuMi)

You will also have general responsibilities and duties, including:

  • Tracking and Verification of all importation documents, certificates, licenses, shipments, rail freight and trucks.
  • Monitor Supplier and Transporter performance by ensuring all deliveries are in line with confirmed due dates and loading expectancy.
  • Perform direct and indirect analysis on planned deliveries vs actual tracking’s / deliveries.
  • Update and manage purchase order spreadsheet
  • ORB: Update individual order progress and list queries
  • IMEX tracking
  • Document data verification
  • Document timeline tracking
  • Assist BV teams
  • Managing closing of orders
  • SAP Receipts

Eligibility and Requirements
