Duties
As a facility manager, you will have several duties. Please check the complete list of duties below to help you decide if this job is for you!
- Managing the maintenance of parks and cemeteries (including gardens, sports grounds and public amenities)
- Supervise the staff and work process
- Performing administrative duties
- Managing staff and personnel
- Conducting work programmes according to the system
- Monitors and supervises use and maintenance of machinery, equipment, tools, and material
- Reports to the Supervisor on problems encountered and solve the problem to ensure smooth workflow
Eligibility and Requirements
In order to qualify for this Facility Manager vacancy, you will need to fulfill the following requirements. Please check the complete list below:
- Grade 12 with a technical and preferably horticultural background
- Code C1 driving license
- Proficiency in at least 2 of the official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans/English/isiXhosa – read, write & speak)
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in key performance areas.
