Job Description

The qualified candidate will be working in Admin Support Tugela division in Tugela Vaal. This job offers an attractive level 5 salary which amounts to R 163 563 per annum. The minimum requirement for the Administration Clerk vacancy at NWRI is Grade 12 or senior certificate. Should you be in possession of at least one year of prior experience in SCM or procurement environment, it will surely act as an added bonus. This position requires you to have the following competencies and skills:

  • Good knowledge of PPPFA, PFMA, Government SCM policies or framework as well as its procedures, and Treasury Regulations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy like Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills
  • A valid driver’s license

Once you are qualified for the job, you will be involved in but not limited to the following key performance areas:

  • Conduct effective procurement of services and goods
  • Control and update 0-9 file
  • Provide SCM support services in the component
  • Register delivery or invoices notes and then submit them to Finance
  • Capture service entry or GRV on SAP system
  • Collect various reports for SCM and take care of registers
  • Identify risk related to SCM
  • Compile demand plan
  • Implement SCM framework
  • Assist with commodity analysis to make sure that necessary resources fulfil identified needs
