Job Description
The future incumbent will be stationed at the Department of Social Development situated within the Western Cape Government. The minimum education requirement essential to be eligible is a Senior certificate (Grade 12 qualification) or its equivalent. This position offers a level five salary that has a total amount of R 163 563 annually. Job Related Duties
- Be responsible for effective administration of transport procedures and policies
- Help with effective maintenance as well as optimal utilisation of fleet
- Conduct support to the region with regards to leave, performance and personnel documentation
- Conduct provisioning of administration
- Render assistance in determining needs as well as application of proper procedures related to provisioning
- Liaise with service holders in respect of the delivery and supply of goods
- Assist with regards to asset management in terms of compiling database to record all assets
- Report all assets acquired on a quarterly basis
- Compile inventories with regards to equipment and stores
- Lobby with inventory controllers of institutions and offices to make sure that there is a uniformed approach in the recording of assets
- Assist with the stocktaking processes in accordance with PFMA, Provincial Treasury as well as provisioning procedures and guidelines.
