Job Description
OpenServe is the new separate wholesale broadband division of Telkom. It is dubbed as the largest telecommunications infrastructure provider in South Africa that has the biggest broadband network. This year, 6 learnership positions are open at OpenServe for qualified individuals for a 2 year period. The learnership program at OpenServe requires all candidates to hold at least a matric national certificate, preferably a vocational one in Electrical Infrastructure Construction or a matric certificate with science and maths (not math literacy). All successful incumbents will be stationed at the Western Cape in a more specific area.

- Job desk: To repair and maintain Telkom’s cable network, across the entire range, in order to provide a continuous service to all our customers

As for the learnership number 6, should you be interested in becoming an intern, the minimum requirement is S4, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Communication, N6 Electrical Engineering, and Light Current.
