Duties

- Rendering of clerical services to the Military Legal Services
- Performing a variety of routine directive clerical duties
- Handling routine correspondence including processing documents
- Answering telephone and making calls on behalf of the Office in charge
- Taking notes and typing of the Officer in charge
- Receiving and transmitting messages through fax
- Performing elementary calculations and maintaining statistics
- Filling documents
- Performing a variety of tasks for the officer in charge
- Submitting the expenditure, inland, and accommodation claims
- Reminding when they are meetings
- Receiving visitors and arranging for refreshments

- Performing duties collectively and directly concerning the outfitting
- Doing the maintenance of clothing items worn by SANDF employees for the purpose of the operational mission
- Executing of a tailor service

- Implementing the repair processes and being able to utilize tailor resources
- Providing advices and service for designing, manufacturing, fitting, and maintaining clothing items
- Maintaining the clothing items of military employees based on the requirements of the members concerned
Requirements
In addition, to be eligible for two position of an admin clerk, there are some requirements to fulfill as follows.
- Having the minimum of Grade 12 is a must
- Having one year of working experience as a clerk is compulsory
- The applicants must have computer literacy especially in MS Office
- Having coordination, planning, and organizational skills is necessary
- The applicants must have good communication skills for both verbal and written
- Being able to maintain discipline and solve problems will be a plus
