Duties
As a Call Centre Operator, you will have several duties to uphold as part of your job. We have some duties listed below so you can decide whether this is the job that you are looking for.
- You will need to operate customer related information systems to the required standard, while keeping an accurate and secure records
- You also need great knowledge and understanding of customer service principles and be able to apply it in the workplace.
- You must be able to prepare for Inbound and Outbound Calls.
- You must maintain a standard quality of Call Opening.
- You must maintain a standard quality of Call Ending.
- You must be able to channel a Telephone Personality – demonstrates a customer-orientated, energetic, friendly, respectful and empathetic telephone personality.
- You must maintain a standard quality of Collections Call.
- You must maintain a standard quality of Credit Line Affordability Calculations.
- You must be able to educate the Customer – exercises good judgement as to when to educate the customer (for example, benefits of payment; NCA).
- Administration – demonstrates an ability to adhere to administrative call procedures with speed and accuracy and updates customer details, summarises comments in the memo field.
