Job Summary

The qualified candidate will be receiving a level 7 salary amounting to R 242 475 per annum plus benefits. This job is located in Pretoria. In order to be eligible, candidates must be in possession of at least senior certificate accompanied by 3 to 5 year prior experience in the Human Resource Management field. If you happen to hold a three year NQF 6 diploma in HRM or other Human Resource related courses then it will function as an added advantage. It is essential that applicants have relevant PERSAL experience and training too.

Candidates are required to have the following competencies and skills:

  • Knowledge of Human Resource policy applications related to the relevant legislative framework such as BCEA, public service act, public service regulations and any relevant labour legislations
  • Good report writing skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Proven computer literacy
  • Good supervisory skills

Once you are qualified for the job, here are some of the duties you can expect to be involved in:

  • Provide human resource administration service
  • Apply and interpret relevant HRM procedures and policies
  • Administer effective selection, recruitment and appointment of employees. This includes response handling, advertisement of posts, interview processes and provision of secretariat support during evaluation of shortlisting, reference checks, qualification verification, competency assessments and security screening
  • Gather and conduct quality control of submissions relevant to the human resource administration processes
  • Gather monthly reports as needed
  • Administer human resource utilisation related to promotions, new appointments, transfers and terminations of service
  • Administer condition of benefits and service
  • Administer allowances, pension matters and deductions
  • Approval of PERSAL transactions
  • Administer PILIR processes
  • Handle HR related queries on a regular basis
  • Supervise staff
  • Handle audit queries
