The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and managing a commercially viable clinic, ensuring the delivery of professional, value-adding clinic services in alignment with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) regulations, Company policies, and procedures.

Job Description

Job Objectives:

1. Establish and grow a loyal client base by effectively promoting the Clinic’s services to Clicks’ customers and delivering high standards of patient care and customer service.
2. Provide a range of clinic services, including lifestyle management screening tests, ‘well baby’ clinics, health immunizations, baby health monitoring, reproductive health services, adult immunizations, primary health care (minor ailments and wound care), and a Phlebotomy Service.
3. Counsel and advise patients on health information, weight management, and refer patients to Pharmacists and other health professionals when appropriate.
4. Ensure patient information is held securely, confidentially, and accurately maintained on an electronic system, with proper payment received for all services rendered.
5. Ensure the efficient running of the clinic through effective administration, booking of locums, and accurate and timely reporting on financial and stock management.
6. Manage adverse events and emergencies in a professional and effective manner.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

• Essential: A minimum of 3 years practical experience in a broad range of nursing disciplines, preferably Community Health, Primary Health, and Midwifery.
• Desirable: Experience with Unisolv and Allegra.

Education:

• Essential: Registered Nursing Practitioner with SANC
• Essential: 3-year Diploma in Nursing or the 4-year degree
