About the Position: Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is seeking a dedicated and skilled Process Operator to join our manufacturing team. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Process Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the packaging process, executing shift production schedules, and ensuring optimal equipment effectiveness, quality, and performance targets are met.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain process control according to work instructions.
• Record relevant information on short interval control documents.
• Perform required quality tests and analyses, requesting specialist quality analyses when needed.
• Execute autonomous maintenance tasks and carry out “minor” repairs.
• Solve situational problems and conduct root cause analysis.
• Provide information for and participate in situational and systemic problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and 5S standards.
• Follow correct escalation procedures.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Start up the machine according to work instructions.
• Monitor the process for the machine using PIMS and POMS against the standard.
• Prepare for changeovers.
• Support artisans during breakdowns to enhance machine understanding.
• Verify the production plan and raw materials.
