Internship Programme at The Presidency

Internship Details

The successful interns will receive a stipend according to the respective level of qualification they possess.

Master’s Degree                              : R 8 741.51 / month

Bachelor’s / Honours Degree      : R 8 741.51 / month

National Diploma                             : R 7 072.18 / month

This incredible opportunity targets at unemployed South African post graduates or graduates who are under 35 years of age and possess a tertiary qualification in one of the fields mentioned below. Candidates must be ones who have not been previously employed under any internship opportunity.

Qualified incumbents will be stationed in Pretoria. In order to be eligible for the Internship Program 2019 at the Presidency, applicants are required to be in possession of one of the following educational qualifications (either undergraduate or postgraduate qualification is acceptable):

Please apply for the Internship Program 2019 at the Presidency before December 7, 2018 at 16:00 at the latest. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Please submit your application by attaching the following documents:

  • A z83 application form
  • Certified copies of ID document, all qualifications and certificates
  • A comprehensive resume that must be recently updated

In case you are in possession of any foreign qualifications, it is your responsibility as an applicant to attach the evaluation report issued by SAQA within your application.

Failure to include all of the aforementioned documents will lead to your application being disregarded. The Presidency will limit any sort of correspondence regarding this internship to candidates who have been shortlisted only. That being said, if you have yet to receive any feedback in three months after the deadline, please take it to mean your application as unsuccessful.

Shortlisted applicants will be subjected to a pre-employment screening and the outcome of this event will be considered to decide suitability for employment. Since the internship will take place in Pretoria and considering candidates will only earn a stipend and not a salary, they must be willing as well as able to find their own accommodation in Pretoria.
