Over the course of 12 months, participants have the chance to obtain an NQF Level 3 qualification as a Health Promotion Officer (HPO), a credential that can open doors to a promising future.

As a Health Promotion Officer trainee, you’ll be at the forefront of driving community health and wellness initiatives in the vibrant Soweto region. Your role will encompass a range of vital responsibilities, including conducting health education and promotion activities, actively engaging in community outreach programs, and fostering dialogues with residents to enhance awareness of crucial health issues. Who We’re Looking For
- Age: We welcome candidates aged 18 to 30 years old.
- Location: Reside in Soweto, Gauteng.
- Current Status: Not currently engaged in employment, education, or training.
- Education: Possess a Matric qualification (Grade 12).
- Commitment: Ready to commit to a 12-month program.
- Skills: Demonstrate good visual and hearing abilities.
- Mobility: Be prepared for fieldwork.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer literacy is preferred.
- Bonus Points: Any prior experience in the health sector is an added advantage.
