Duties
If you successfully join this Call Centre Learnership opportunity, your main duty is to learn how to manage and complete clients’ queries, as well as compile client reports. You will answer directly to the National Customer Support Manager. This will be the perfect opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the Call Centre industry!
Here are the complete breakdown of your expected duties if you are recruited into the programme:
Answering of Calls
- Quickly pointing out the client’s queries from the call
- Resolving client’s queries through the telephone communication
- Tracking the inbound and outbound calls using Google Sheet and a reference number system
- Learning the proper etiquette in answering client’s calls
- Communicating with other related branches when additional information is required
- Returning to the client with a proper feedback
Average Rings
- Time is very important in the Call Centre division, calls must be answered within 10 seconds
Time Keeping
- You must keep up with the deadlines and send reports timely
- You must be punctual at work
- You must be quick to email/contact other branches for missing information
- Completing reports using Google Sheets
- Updating client’s information on Google Sheets
- Loading G4S online profiles
AD-HOC Duties
- Perform any ad hoc duty that may be assigned to you by Management from time to time
Health and Safety
- You must participate in the annual implementation of the safety plans
- Attending the safety forums conducted by the company
- Reporting safety-related incidents to the relevant person in charge
- Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management
- Attend safety education and refresher programmes
- Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace
- Distribute safety information as and when required
Eligibility and Requirements
Do not worry about eligibility, this learnership programme does not require any previous job experience! You just need to met their minimum education requirement, which is: Grade 12 and/or NQ4 with a minimum pass rate of 50%
Since this job does not require any experience or detailed education background, you need to make yourself stand out as an applicant through other means. You need to master these skills in order to be a great addition to their team:
- Having basic call centre knowledge
- Profieciency in computers, able to work on Microsoft Office’s suite programme such as Excel, MS Outlook, and Word
- Having good communication skills is essential in this job, both in written and verbal form

- Ability to adapt with changing situations
- Having good attention to details
Additional Requirements
The candidate should not currently be registered as a full-time student at a tertiary institution.
