CACH Service Application is a solution for matriculants of grade 12 who haven’t gotten offers for higher education anywhere. The Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) arranges this service to let you get an offer from higher education institutions which join in this service. CACH (The Central Application Clearing House) Service aims for students of grade 12 who have taken the exam in June or November. Eligibility and Requirements
All matriculants of South Africa grade 12 have opportunity to sign up in CACH Service. Especially at the moment, as their NCS results are out, yet no offers of later studies come to them. Remember that you have to join with your valid NCS information to let them connect your result with your data in the service. Fill in your valid phone number, since any offers will come anytime and they will get to you through SMS to your phone. And since the offers have their expiry date you have to give respond if you get an opportunity that you want. if not, you have right to decline. Yet, after three times of declines or neglect to respond, the system will remove your data from their database. Use the opportunity wisely and find the fittest one for you.
Application
The CACH service has opened since 24 January 2022 to welcome the 12 graders who are looking for an opportunity to join a higher education institution. There are some points you need to pay attention to about this programme though.
- This programme is free of charge , so beware for anyone who says otherwise.
- Matriculants have to sign up to the CACH application website (www.cach.ac.za) or through their WhatsApp chat bot (078 776 8660) to join in this programme.
- Make sure you listed the valid information of your ID, name and others just as what you have used in the NCS test. Valid phone numbers will also play an important role since you will get information about offers from the phone number that you list in the CACH application.
- Respond to any opportunity that catches your attention since all the offers have an expiry date. Make sure not to lose an opportunity due to negligence to give further response.
- It’s okay to decline an offer, yet after three times of declines then your data will be removed from their database.
- CACH service has no right to decide opportunities for matriculants who join in this programme. All decisions come from the institution’s side and CACH have no responsibility to answer any questions related to the offers given to the matriculants.
