Duties
Are you curious about what you might be doing as a Phlebotomy Technician in Ampath? In general, your duty is to collect blood and non-blood specimens. There will be a registered nurse supervising what you do and let you know how to do it.
In details, your duties are as listed:
- Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath
- Manage money/cash flow of depot to facilitate collection of payments for phlebotomy services rendered
- Perform phlebotomy procedures in order to ensure sufficient delivery of nursing services
- Conduct phlebotomy related administrative tasks to ensure correct recording and processing of information
- Do safety tasks to ensure safety standards are upheld
